Your company profile is the basis for all your documents. From here, you configure the data that appears on invoices, quotes, and other tax documents.
Basic Information
Legal and Commercial Name
The legal name is the name registered with the commercial registry or the tax administration. It is the one that must appear on all your tax documents.
The commercial name (optional) is how clients and vendors know you. If you use both, the legal name appears on invoices, and the commercial name can be used in marketing communications.
Ejemplo:
Nombre legal: Acme Spain, S.L.
Nombre comercial: Acme
Tax Identifier
Enter your NIF (Tax Identification Number), CIF (Tax Identification Code), or NIE (Foreigner Identification Number) according to your entity type.
Frihet automatically validates the format:
- NIF: 8 digits + 1 letter (e.g., 12345678X)
- CIF: 1 letter + 7 digits + 1 digit/letter (e.g., A12345674)
- NIE: X, Y, or Z + 7 digits + 1 letter (e.g., X1234567L)
This identifier appears on all your invoices and is mandatory for tax operations in Spain.
Contact
Billing Email
Your main contact email. It is used for:
- Received payment notifications
- Pending document alerts
- Frihet communications about your account
Phone
Contact number that may appear on your commercial documents. The format is automatically standardized.
Website (optional)
Your company URL. It appears on documents if you include it in the invoicing template.
Address
Configuration and Autocomplete
Frihet integrates address autocomplete to speed up entry. Type the street and the application suggests options.
The required fields are:
- Street and number: Full address of the tax domicile
- Postal code: Mandatory to validate the province
- Municipality: It is autocompleted based on the postal code
- Province: It is automatically determined
The full address is mandatory and must be your tax domicile or the address where you carry out your economic activity.
Document Presentation
The data you configure here is automatically inserted into:
- Invoices: Document header and footer
- Quotes: Seller data
- Receipts: Billing information
- Credit notes: Company details
You can review how they look in the preview before saving changes.
VeriFactu Responsible Declaration
At the bottom of the tax profile, the software's responsible declaration is displayed, mandatory for invoicing systems in Spain (Art. 20 RD 1007/2023).
This section shows:

Future Changes
Modifying your company data automatically affects new documents. Documents already issued retain the data they had at the time of issue, thus complying with tax requirements for immutability.
If you change your address or tax identifier, update this data as soon as possible to maintain consistency with your official records.
