Notifications

Stay informed about important events in your business. Configure which notifications you want to receive, through which channels, and when.

Available Channels

Email

The main channel. Notifications are sent to your billing email configured in Company Details.

You can change the email from Settings > Account without affecting your tax address.

In-app

Notifications within Frihet. They appear in the Notification Center (bell icon) in the main browser.

They do not require additional configuration. They are displayed in real-time while you use the application.

Push (coming soon)

Push notifications in the browser and mobile. Available in future versions.

Notification Types

Invoices and Payments

Invoice Issued

Automatically sent when you create an invoice. Includes a summary of the document.

Payment Reminder

Sent to your clients (if you have their email) reminding them to pay within the configured period.

  • First reminder: 3 days before due date
  • Second reminder: on the due date
  • Third reminder: 5 days after due date

Note: Reminders are only sent if the invoice is marked as "Payment Pending".

Invoice Paid

Notified when a client marks a payment in Frihet or when it is manually recorded.

Payment Received (future bank integration)

When you integrate your bank, Frihet will automatically detect payments.

Overdue Invoices

Overdue Invoice Alert

Sent 1 day after the due date if payment has not been recorded.

Frequency: One alert per invoice, not repeated.

Overdue Invoice Summary

A daily summary of all invoices with outstanding payments more than 5 days overdue.

Available only in email and in-app channels.

Goals and Milestones

Goal Reached Alert

Triggered when you reach a configured goal (e.g., monthly income, number of clients).

You can receive alerts for each goal or a single one per period.

Digests (periodic summaries)

Weekly Summary

Every Monday at 9:00 AM:

  • Income and expenses for the week
  • Outstanding invoices to be collected
  • Important changes in your activity

Monthly Summary

First day of the month at 9:00 AM:

  • Tax summary for the previous month
  • Income, expenses, net profit
  • Estimated taxes (VAT, IRPF if applicable)
  • Trends compared to previous months

Tax Dates

Tax Reminders

  • Quarterly VAT declaration (last days of the quarter)
  • Income tax declaration estimate (if applicable)
  • Tax payment due dates

These reminders are based on your configured tax regime.

Quiet Hours

Configuration

Define a time range during which you do not wish to receive notifications:

Example:
From 22:00 to 08:00

Exception: Critical alerts (overdue invoice, security changes) are sent regardless during this period.

Notifications that would have arrived during quiet hours are delivered in the next active window.

Preferences by Type

Enable/Disable by Channel

For each notification type, you can choose:

  • Receive by email
  • Receive in-app
  • Do not receive
Configuration example:
Invoice Issued → Email + App
Payment Reminder → Email
Overdue Alert → Email + App
Monthly Summary → Email
Push (in the future) → App

Global Channel Configuration

You can completely disable a channel (e.g., do not receive emails of any kind) from Channels.

This overrides individual preferences.

Notification Frequency

To avoid overload:

  • Maximum 1 notification per event: You will not receive duplicates
  • Automatic Grouping: Multiple events in the same period are grouped into a digest
  • Deduplication: If there are multiple conditions that trigger the same alert, you will receive only one

History and Notification Center

Access the Notification Center to:

  • View all received notifications
  • Mark as read
  • Archive or delete
  • Access quick actions (e.g., view outstanding invoice)

History is maintained for 30 days.
