Tax estimate
Frihet shows you an estimate of how much tax you will owe (or offset) in each quarter before the filing deadline arrives, based on the invoices you issued and the expenses you recorded. It is indicative: it does not replace the official calculation or a tax advisor.
1. Where you see it
In Finance → Taxes you have the Calendar and Compliance tabs. In Calendar, each quarter appears as Past, Current or Upcoming and shows the Net VAT/IGIC (To pay or To be refunded/compensated) and a simple IRPF Estimate: (income − expenses) × your default IRPF rate.
When you generate Form 130, the quarterly prepayment is calculated as 20% of cumulative net income minus withholdings and prior instalments of the year. For VAT, see Form 303 or Form 420 depending on your regime.
2. Recommended Monthly & Pre-Closing Workflow
- Keep your records up to date: log your invoices and expenses with their supporting document; the estimate recalculates with what is recorded.
- Review the calendar in Finance → Taxes before each filing deadline.
- Lock the year when you close it: the lock applies per fiscal year and is activated when you run the year-end closing. See Fiscal Period Lock.
