Webhooks

Connect Frihet to your stack in real time: invoice, quote, expense, client and product events, HMAC signature and automatic retries.

Overview​

Frihet webhooks send HTTP notifications to your server when events occur in the account: invoices created or paid, new expenses, updated clients, etc. If you set a secret when creating the webhook, each delivery includes an HMAC-SHA256 signature in the X-Frihet-Signature header to verify authenticity. If your server returns an error, Frihet retries automatically with exponential backoff, up to 3 attempts in total.

Quick start​

  1. Go to Integrations, open the Webhooks tab and click Create Webhook.
  2. Enter a name, paste your server URL, choose the events you want to receive and, to sign deliveries, set a secret.
  3. Save the signing secret when you create it: it is not shown again. Verify the signature on your server before processing events.

From the list you can edit a webhook, test it with Test or delete it.
