Two-step authentication (2FA / MFA)

Protect your account with two-factor authentication using an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or Authy.

Overview

Frihet lets you enable two-factor authentication (2FA) with TOTP codes. Once enabled, every sign-in requires the 6-digit code generated by your authenticator app, in addition to your password. You can disable it at any time from the same screen.

Quick start

1. Go to Settings → Security → Two-factor authentication.
2. Click Enable 2FA and confirm your current password if Frihet asks for it.
3. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy…).
4. Enter the 6-digit code to verify the setup.
