Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:
- "Frihet" or "the Service": the enterprise resource planning (ERP) software platform provided as a service (SaaS) by Victor Berthelius, a self-employed professional, under the Frihet trademark.
- "User": any natural or legal person who accesses, registers for, or uses the Service.
- "Account": the User's personal space within the platform.
- "Plan": the subscription model chosen (Free, Pro, Business, or Enterprise).
- "User Content": all data, documents, invoices, and other information entered by the User into the platform.
2. Service Description
Frihet is a cloud-based business management platform designed for self-employed individuals, freelancers, and small to medium-sized businesses. The Service includes, among other functionalities:
- Creation and management of invoices and quotes
- Expense management with optical character recognition (OCR)
- Financial dashboard
- Basic CRM
- Bank reconciliation
- Accounting export
- Automations
- Artificial intelligence assistant
The available functionalities depend on the Plan purchased by the User.
3. Registration and User Account
To use the Service, it is necessary to create an Account by providing truthful, complete, and up-to-date information. The User is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activities carried out under their Account.
The User agrees to immediately notify Frihet of any unauthorized use of their Account. Frihet reserves the right to suspend or cancel Accounts that contain false information or violate these Terms.
4. Plans and Pricing
Frihet offers the following plans:

The prices indicated do not include applicable taxes (VAT). Frihet reserves the right to modify prices with prior notification to the User at least 30 days in advance. Price changes will apply to the next billing period.
5. Billing and Payments
Payments are securely processed through Stripe. Subscriptions are billed recurrently (monthly or annually) according to the selected Plan.
The User authorizes Frihet to make the corresponding charges to the registered payment method. In case of non-payment, Frihet may suspend access to the Service after a grace period of 7 calendar days.
A free plan with limited use is available indefinitely.
6. Acceptable Use
The User agrees to use the Service in accordance with current legislation, these Terms, and good faith. It is prohibited to:
- Use the Service for illegal or fraudulent activities
- Attempt to access other users' data without authorization
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Use the Service to send spam or malicious content
- Intentionally overload the Service's infrastructure
- Resell or redistribute the Service without Frihet's express authorization
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its source code, design, interface, logos, texts, and other elements, is the exclusive property of Victor Berthelius or its licensors, and is protected by applicable intellectual and industrial property laws.
The User retains all rights to the User Content. By using the Service, the User grants Frihet a limited, non-exclusive, and revocable license to process such content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
8. Limitation of Liability
Frihet provides the Service "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Frihet shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, data, or revenue
- Service interruptions caused by factors beyond its reasonable control
Frihet's total cumulative liability shall not, in any case, exceed the total amount paid by the User during the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
Frihet does not replace professional tax or accounting advice.
9. Cancellation and Refunds
The User may cancel their subscription at any time from their Account's billing dashboard. The cancellation will be effective at the end of the current billing period, maintaining access to the Service until that date.
No refunds will be issued for partial periods already billed.
After cancellation, the User will have 30 days to export their data before it is deleted from our systems. For the Free plan, the Account will remain active with the limitations inherent to that plan.
10. Modifications to the Terms
Frihet reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions. Any substantial modification will be notified to the User at least 30 days in advance via the email associated with their Account.
Continued use of the Service after the modifications take effect will imply acceptance of the new Terms. If the User does not agree with the modifications, they may cancel their subscription before they take effect.
11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Spanish law. For the resolution of any dispute arising from the interpretation or compliance with these Terms, the parties submit to the Courts and Tribunals of the city of Madrid, without prejudice to the rights of the User as a consumer in accordance with current regulations.
