Run tax and accounting for all your clients from a single panel

If you run tax for dozens of clients, the real work isn't calculating taxes. It's the logistics: remembering which return is due for which client, chasing invoices over WhatsApp, exporting to their accounting software, then starting over next month. The tool changes with each client, and you're the glue between all of them.

The problem

Running tax for many clients forces you to jump between tools, emails and spreadsheets. Each client has their own folder, their own login, their own way of sending you receipts. Deadlines live in your head or in a sheet you update by hand. And when the quarter arrives, you spend more time gathering the information than reviewing it.

The cost isn't only time. It's the risk of a return slipping past you, of a client staying off the radar until it's already late.

How Frihet solves it, step by step

Frihet brings every client into one place and gives you the practice cockpit: a command view built for firms, not a recycled client dashboard.

1. One panel, all your clients. Each client is an isolated workspace with its own data. From the multi-client panel you move between them without logging out or asking for passwords. You control who sees what with roles and permissions: admin, editor, accountant and viewer.

2. What's due and for whom, at a glance. The tax timeline and the obligations dashboard show the deadlines across your whole book on a single screen. Health scoring ranks clients by risk, and the consolidated aging tells you who has open payments or missing documents without opening each client one by one.

3. Prepare taxes in batches. Frihet calculates, previews and exports Spanish returns 303, 130, 111, 115, 347, 349, 390 and 420 as PDF, and in AEAT TXT format for 303, 130, 111 and 115. Batch M303 and multi-model prepares the same filing for several clients in one run, instead of repeating the process one at a time. Returns come out as a draft, ready for you to review and file; Frihet leaves them calculated and exported, it does not file them for you. The only direct submission to the AEAT is VeriFactu.

4. Double-entry accounting per client. Each workspace keeps its own chart of accounts, automatic journal entries, balance sheet, profit and loss, trial balance, general ledger and year-end close. The chart of accounts covers 96 countries and more than 33,000 accounts, with withholding tax in 11 countries. When a client works on third-party software, you export to ContaPlus, DATEV, Xero, QuickBooks or CSV.

5. Request documents without chasing anyone. The client portal lets each one upload their invoices and receipts through a link, no login. You request what's missing by email or generate the request over WhatsApp from the cockpit. When receipts arrive, OCR reads them (photo, PDF or email) with 214 vendor templates and auto-categorizes them, so you don't key in data by hand.

6. Automate the repetitive. The AI copilot answers business questions, scans documents and generates reports in plain language. For the programmatic side, the public REST API and the MCP server (@frihet/mcp-server, 157 tools) let you query and operate across your clients from your own workflows or from an agent. What today is copy-paste between tabs is tomorrow a single call.

A typical example

A firm in Tenerife runs 60 clients, a mix of sole traders and small companies. Before each quarter, every accountant opened sheet after sheet to see who had sent everything and who hadn't.

With the cockpit, the firm logs in on a Monday in October and sees the full picture: 14 clients with the 303 ready to review, 9 with missing documents, 3 flagged red by health scoring. The team fires off document requests over WhatsApp and email in one click, clients upload their invoices to the portal, and OCR categorizes them as they land. Batch M303 leaves the drafts calculated for the entire book; the accountant reviews, adjusts what's needed and exports. The accounting for each client on an external ERP comes out in the format that ERP expects.

The quarter stops being a gathering race and becomes what it should be: review and judgment.
