This integration is available in Frihet. Configure it in Settings → Integrations → Pipedrive.

Connect your Pipedrive account to Frihet to import your contacts (people) as clients. Pipedrive is a CRM focused on the sales pipeline, and with this integration you can bring your contact data into Frihet to invoice them without needing to duplicate information between systems.

What it's for

  • Import people as clients — Pipedrive contacts (persons) become Frihet clients with name, email, phone, and company
  • Automatic primary data — The primary email and phone of each contact are imported
  • No double entry — Avoid manually creating clients in Frihet that already exist in your CRM
  • Direct Invoicing — Once imported, create invoices for those clients with all data already completed

Requirements

  • Active account in Pipedrive
  • Frihet Pro or Business plan
  • Pipedrive API Token

How to connect

Step 1: Get your API Token in Pipedrive

  1. Log in to app.pipedrive.com
  2. Click on your avatar or initials in the upper right corner
  3. Select Personal preferences
  4. Go to the API tab
  5. Copy your personal API Token displayed on the screen

The Pipedrive API Token is personal and has access to all your account data. Do not share it and store it securely.

Step 2: Configure in Frihet

  1. In Frihet, go to Settings → Integrations
  2. Find Pipedrive and click on the card
  3. Paste your API Token into the corresponding field
  4. Click on Test connection to verify
  5. If the connection is successful, click on Save

How it works

Frihet connects to the Pipedrive API using your API Token as an authentication parameter. When you initiate an import, Frihet queries the persons registered in Pipedrive and creates them as clients in Frihet.

The import is on-demand. The primary email and phone of each person are imported. Already imported contacts are identified by their Pipedrive ID and are not duplicated.

Use Cases

Sales team with pipeline in Pipedrive

Your team manages opportunities in Pipedrive. When a deal closes, you import the associated person into Frihet as a client and create the invoice directly. The flow goes from CRM to ERP without friction.

Contact base migration

You have years of contacts accumulated in Pipedrive. Instead of exporting a CSV and re-importing it, you connect Pipedrive to Frihet and bring all your contacts with one click.

Freelancer or consultant

You use Pipedrive to manage your leads and opportunities. When a prospect becomes a client, you import them into Frihet to start invoicing them with the correct data from the beginning.

Troubleshooting

Connection error

  • Verify that the API Token is correct and corresponds to your account
  • Check that your Pipedrive account is active and has not expired
  • If you changed your password in Pipedrive, the API Token might have regenerated — check in Personal preferences > API

Contacts are not imported

  • Ensure that you have persons (persons) created in Pipedrive, not just organizations
  • Contacts without a name are omitted during import
  • Verify that your Pipedrive plan allows API access

Missing email or phone

  • Pipedrive allows multiple emails and phones per person. Frihet imports only the one marked as primary
  • If a contact does not have a primary email or phone, those fields will remain empty in Frihet
