This integration is available in Frihet. Configure it in Settings → Integrations → PandaDoc.

Connect your PandaDoc account to Frihet to manage your documents and electronic signatures directly from your ERP. PandaDoc is a document automation platform for creating proposals, contracts, and electronic signatures. With this integration, you can consult your documents and send them for signature without leaving Frihet.

  • List documents — Consult all your PandaDoc documents (proposals, contracts, quotes) from Frihet
  • Send for signature — Send PandaDoc documents for electronic signature directly from the Frihet interface
  • Document status — Visualize the status of each document (draft, sent, viewed, signed, rejected)

Requirements

  • Active account in PandaDoc
  • Frihet Pro or Business Plan
  • PandaDoc API key

How to connect

Step 1: Obtain your API Key in PandaDoc

  1. Log in to app.pandadoc.com
  2. Go to Settings by clicking on your avatar
  3. Navigate to Integrations → API
  4. In the API Keys section, click to generate a new key
  5. Give it a descriptive name, for example "Frihet ERP"
  6. Copy the generated API Key

Step 2: Configure in Frihet

  1. In Frihet, go to Settings → Integrations
  2. Search for PandaDoc and click on the card
  3. Paste your API Key into the corresponding field
  4. Click Test connection to verify
  5. If the connection is successful, click Save

How it works

Frihet connects to the PandaDoc API using your API key for authentication. The integration allows you to consult the list of documents in your PandaDoc account and manage sending documents for electronic signature.

Unlike banking or CRM integrations, PandaDoc does not import data into Frihet (it does not create clients or expenses). It is a document management and signature tool that complements your workflow in the ERP.

Use cases

Consultant sending proposals

You create proposals in PandaDoc and invoices in Frihet. With the integration, you can view the status of your proposals directly from Frihet. When a proposal is signed, you create the corresponding invoice without switching applications.

Agency with service contracts

You manage contracts with your clients in PandaDoc. From Frihet, you can check which contracts are pending signature and send reminders, maintaining the documentary and invoicing workflow in one place.

Freelancer with recurring agreements

You send service agreements to new clients via PandaDoc. From Frihet, you can verify the status of each agreement and, once signed, proceed to create the first invoice with the client's data.

Troubleshooting

Connection error

  • Verify that the API key is correct and has not been revoked
  • Check that your PandaDoc plan includes API access (not all plans include it)
  • If you generated a new API key, the previous one stops working — update it in Frihet

Documents are not displayed

  • Make sure you have documents created in PandaDoc
  • Verify that the API key belongs to the correct account (if you have multiple workspaces)
  • Documents deleted in PandaDoc do not appear in Frihet

Error when sending for signature

  • Verify that the document in PandaDoc is complete and ready to send (not in an incomplete draft state)
  • Check that the document recipients have a valid email configured in PandaDoc
  • The API key needs write permissions to send documents for signature
