Stock management

Frihet automatically deducts product stock when an invoice is published and restores it if you cancel it, with a low stock alert per product.

Overview​

If you sell physical products, Frihet keeps inventory up to date with no extra work. When you add a product with stock control to an invoice and publish it, the available stock is reduced. If you cancel the invoice or issue a credit note, the stock is restored. Stock control does not apply to services.

Each product has its own low stock alert threshold, and the product list shows the status (In stock, Low stock, Out of stock).

Quick start​

  1. Go to Sales → Products and open a product. Turn on Stock control and enter the Current quantity.
  2. Set the Low stock alert (it warns when stock drops below that quantity) and the unit of measure.
  3. When you issue invoices with that product, the stock is updated automatically.

Reference​

  • Stock is managed from the app. The public products API (/v1/products) has no stock fields.
